Brandon Fries's writing has a succinct emotional core to it that is both hilarious and heartbreaking, and I hate him for how good he is at his craft.
Are you seeking for an engaging story? Trying to find a new author to follow? You’ve come to the right place.
My name is Brandon and I’m a writer. I am glad you found me and my hope is that you are able to come here and find exciting stories that make you think and a blog that helps you in your life.
My focus as a writer is to connect with human emotions. I use my own personal experiences and feeling to portray real-life characters that are dealing with real-life issues.
Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass. –Anton Chekhov
I grew up in a fairly normal middle-class family, yet from a young child, I struggled with crippling anxiety. I would miss class for days. When I entered middle school, the anxiety was immediately paired with depression—good times—but it wasn’t until college that I knew what craziness was going on with my mind— and it wasn’t until recently that I was finally put on meds.
Why do I tell you this? Am I a mad man that writes crazy prose the likes of Edgar Allan Poe? No. Well, hopefully, I write good prose. The reason I say this is because it’s these emotions that I tap into in order to help you, the reader, connect with the characters. Writing has become a therapy for me as I dive deep into my inner voices, letting them breathe.
